NOTES FROM THE STUDIO
On rooms, materials and how places feel.
Ideas and observations gathered through the work.
Point of view
The rooms we remember
Why atmosphere often survives in memory long after the details of a room have disappeared.
Materials
A quieter material palette
Working with fewer materials can create rooms with greater depth, character and longevity.
Hospitality
Designing hospitality for return visits
The details that help a restaurant, hotel or shop feel generous on the first visit and familiar on the fifth.
